This is why most clients will not work with you, especially long term.

The things I am about to mention are not new, but you have paid little attention to them, that's why you are dealing with unstable or no client at all.

1) You have confused being too forward with professionalism. You rush to show your beautiful portfolio without first understanding or listening to their problem. Clients want a partner who can carry their goal, not just a designer.

2) One of the fastest ways to lose a client is silence. This one is tested and proven 😄
Late replies, long explanations, or disappearing during revisions. This makes your client feel unsure about you.

3) Taking feedback personally.
You love hype but resent sincerity. I am looking at you now. When a client tells you how dissatisfied they are with your work, you record a long voice note, forcing them to see why the design is functional 😂

4) Oh my designers, what shall it profit you if you overpromise and underdeliver?
You just told a client that your design will improve their social media engagement and 5x their sales. Ride on, miracle worker 💪🏼 After all these promises, you deliver lower quality.

Do not just focus on delivering a design, offer your service well. Service is emotional, psychological, and relational.

When you understand this, clients feel more comfortable with you. Be yourself as you grow, do not overestimate your ability, and treat clients with respect.
