SIMPLICITY IN GRAPHIC DESIGN
One of the most important principles of Graphic Design is Simplicity. Many Graphic Designers, especially beginners thinks that Graphic Design is about complication. They think that making their designs complicated will make them to be professional graphic designers. But no! Graphic Design is not about how complicated your design is, it's about simplicity and clarity. Your design must be simple and clear to effectively communicate the message of the design or state the purpose of the design. If your design is complicated without clarity, then it has failed, because it won't effectively communicate the message that the design carries and also it won't state the purpose of the design. What I mean by Simplicity in Graphic Design is that everything in your design should be simple to understand. The text should be easy to read and understand. The elements you are using should be detailed and clear, easily understandable. The fonts you are using also should be fonts that people can see clearly and read the texts with ease. The size of the fonts also should be moderate also, not too big, not too small. Then don't use more than three fonts in your designs, especially as a beginner in the Graphic Design industry. Your background also should be simple and matches the design perfectly, etc. So I advise every Graphic Designer out there, especially the beginners in the industry to make their designs simple and clear, because simplicity and clarity of a design is equal to functionality and effective communication of a design.
